Recycled Glass for Countertops

When looking for "unique" counter-tops for clients we simply don't want to leave any possibility unturned. There are so many wonderful choices available these days, as I'm sure you too are aware of, but have you seen these wonderful choices from recycled glass?  Oh, they are "Simply Irresistible"...to say the least! First, look at colors such as these...and to find these in your counter-tops...ooh-la-la!

This product is by Vetrazzo and is comprised of 100% recycled glass.  Isn't that amazing?  It is a true work of art that is sure to be the talk of the neighborhood once it is installed in your home. Not only the colors, but the sparkle itself is incredible. There is actually a "story" in each and every surface...from architectural to art glass, beer bottles, jars, etc...each one is a "signature blend of color and life that tells a story".  Take a closer look at some of these sparkling beauties...

These aren't by any means all of the color ways...and if that doesn't wet your appetite...these will.

Are you in love yet?

For more detailed information and color choices go to their website here.  The manufacturing plant is north of Atlanta, Georgia...so it's made in the good 'ole USA.  That is another selling feature, don't you think?

Vetrazzo glass is not an in-expensive option by any means, but it surely is worth the price.  I simply love this stuff and would love to use it in my very own kitchen remodel project.  Can you guess which color I would use?  You'll know more once we all finish our "home personality" test (here if you missed that post).  What would YOUR color option be?

Hope you enjoyed the sparkle for the day and hope you
have a "Simply Irresistible" Day!

Does your home truly reflect...YOU?

Does your home look like you?

Did you know that your home should be an extension of you...your personality, your character, your style...everything about YOU.  Does it reflect this?  Would you like to know if it does?  This is a little test I read about quite some time ago that I thought I'd share.  Honestly, I don't even recall where I read it, but I thought it was a neat idea.

1) Start by clearing your mind of what your home looks like now or even what you wish it looked like.

2)Take a good look around your home, even your storage areas, and find six things that you simply love. It can be a  dish, an accessory, rug, a piece of clothing, a purse, a piece of furniture, an architectural element...just any six things you absolutely love. Be honest if you want true results.  Take your time in doing this part.

3)Put all of these items in a spot together (like out on a cleared table) and take a look.

4) Describe, or perhaps write down, what you see.  What colors, style, textures, themes, etc, do they reveal?

Whatever they are, these are the colors and elements you need to combine and showcase in your home to make it truly represent YOU.  Does your home reflect this?...or does it maybe reflect hasty purchases of just "trendy" items?  Hum, this is a really good little test of "home personality"...will you try it?

Let's see what kind of room make-overs any of us are in need of...get ready, get set, GO! Be sure to let us know what you find out about your "home personality". Come back and we'll talk about the results too...and what to do.

Have a blessed and "Simply Irresistible" Day!

House of the Week 6/13

I hope your weekend was everything you imagined it would be and that you got some time to do something fun. I thought about what I wanted to post for you and decided it would be fun, especially for a Monday, to find a "House of the Week" inspiration.  How about this one to inspire you today...

Is this beautiful or what?  I just love the neutral outside of this home against the backdrop of the blue ocean and nature's green in the front...I tagged this one to be "Simply Irresistible" for sure! I found this beauty on the island of St. John in the Carribean.  Take a peek inside too...

I just LOVE the simplicity of this room...and of course, the view!

Look at this master bedroom's octagonal shape which allows for a door or window on each wall.  Can you imagine the view from each one...oh my, it would certainly be heaven to me!  I love how they used yellow in this room against the blue water...breathtaking!

And with a master bath like this one...I may never get done with my hair and make-up!  I love the colors, the simplicity, and the Walker Zanger glass wall tiles...luscious, don't you think?

Here's the covered veranda showcasing the Little Toboga island between the two columns...what a view and I do think that lounge chair there is calling my name!

I do indeed hope this has inspired you on this Monday morning. I know it has me.  Now be sure to go and make this a...

"Simply Irresistible" Day!
