I cannot begin to tell you how much I love my...FRIENDS! 

I am so very blessed to have many true friends, both local and long distance. Each and every one of them holds a special place in my heart!  Even when some of us don't talk as often as we'd like to...when we do, it's like we take up right where we left off. I am thankful for these wonderful people in my life.  My life has been richly blessed because of them!

Things I Love...Day #13

What little secret do I want to share with you today about what I love?  Oh, I know!  I love...POCKETBOOKS (handbags, as some of you may call them!).  I have had "a thing" for pocketbooks ever since I can remember...probably since I was one year old or so...no joke!  I have.  I cannot go into any store without browsing through the wide selections (just ask my hubby...even when he's with me I still can't resist!) of these ever-wonderful fashion accessories.  I am what some may call...obsessed with them!  I'd carry a new one each day...if I didn't have to change out everything (such a chore some days!).

Yes, it's PINK!


The more "bling"...the better!

Things I LOVE...Day #10

TGIF...yea!  Hope your day was wonderful in every way! For Day #10 of my secret love reveal I'll share with you my love of...

SILK PEONIES

There's just something about these flowers that intrigue me...it's as simple as that!  To me, they are "Simply Irresistible"...in any color.

My personal fave...wonder why???

Here we have Veranda Peonies...5 x 5 size makes them perfect for just about any little spot!

How about this luscious deep red...gorgeous, ya think?

I truly think that with ANY color scheme you can't go wrong by adding one of these in white - to "soften" a hard surface. It's a great idea!  You can always use one atop a small stack of books on an end table...or coffee table for that matter.  They look incredible and are such a nice touch to the kitchen countertops too. 

Simple and easy...perhaps you love another type of flower...maybe tulips?  Any flower used will instantly cozy up the room...try it, you'll see!

Things I LOVE...Day #9

"Things I Love" for today is short and sweet...really sweet!  Now don't laugh, OK...I love CHOCOLATE COVERED CHERRIES! And let me tell you, I DO mean LOVE.  

Yum...I can almost taste them now!  Just one thing though, I only eat them during the Christmas holiday.  That's right and "Santa" always remembers to bring them for me-Ha!  He does!  There is never a year that's gone by that I don't get chocolate covered cherries...sometimes several boxes of them. 

"Select Maraschino cherries wrapped in a creamy fondant and covered in 100% milk chocolate."

Now what could be any better than that for the holidays?

Things I Love...Day #8

Color...we all love color, right?  Well, how do you feel about the Power of PINK...which is a color I absolutely love!

This would indeed be my ideal pink bedroom (ah!  even pink palm trees on the walls!!)...paired with the crispness of white...good night dear readers....oh, OK - I'm not done yet!  

Now you will notice that on my days of Things I Love...you will NOT see...cooking!  I like to cook (OK I admit, only if I HAVE to!), but I certainly don't love it.  However, a girl might could change her opinion about that if this were the kitchen...visions of PINK everywhere!  Even the mixer...love it!

I just adore this splash of pink with this black and white...it's "Simply Irresistible" when paired together, I think. Not to mention all the other fun colors!

Even the pale pinks will do the trick for me...this is another yummy pairing of it with the crisp clean whites.  (I may just change rooms tonight....what do ya think?  This one is tempting too!)

Even a pink ceiling will work...for me!

I'm liking all these pinks...everywhere...and check out those mats in these prints...I think I'll be having breakfast HERE in the morning!!

Things I LOVE...Day #4

Happy Saturday!  I hope you are having a relaxing day and enjoying the week-end time off.  I am...with another one of the things I love... on this rainy day...my KEURIG COFFEE MACHINE!  

...along with my flavored coffees, of course! (Except I have the "poodle" coffee mug, remember?)

We've had this machine for a little over a year now and I LOVE it just as much today as the first day we got it.  It's quick, convenient, and oh so easy.  No messy measuring out coffee grounds...just pick my flavor and pop it in!  Voila...a piping hot cup of coffee...or

Yummy hot chocolate...Mmm!

Or perhaps this...cold or hot!

There's nothing like a good 'ole tall glass of peach sweet tea, especially on a hot day.  Other flavors are available too (and delicious)...this is just my fave tea.

Things I LOVE...Day #3

Just because it's Friday...and just because I am "on the run" today...I'll share with you my love of PALM TREES!  Yes, palm trees!  I love the look of them.  I could sit for hours and just watch them blowing in the breeze and listen to the rustling of their branches! Crazy, huh?  We can be driving anywhere coastal and as soon as I spot the first palm tree on our route...I feel like I'm already there.

I just love the look of these trees.  I can't explain it really. Even their shadows are pretty, don't you think? Ha!Ha!

Whether on the beach...or in the yard...I absolutely LOVE palm trees!

And...to tie it into interior design...well, THAT my friends is simple!

Oh how it refreshes the indoors whether real or silk! (I prefer silk as I don't have a "green thumb!")



It can even be a fabric design...with palm fronds.  Isn't this gorgeous?  (Not to mention the entire room design..."Simply irresistible" indeed!)




Maybe it's as simple as artwork...that works for me too!




How about these swaying palm trees here...with wallpaper in a guest bathroom...ooh-la-la!  Ok, now I am in heaven...if you know me, you will certainly understand this!  Maybe I NEED "this" wallpaper...yep, I said NEED!!!  Soon!

I was asked years ago..."Do you know how palm trees grow? (real ones)".  Of course my dumb-founded look and answer was "No, how?".  I was told..."Very, very slowly, but when they mature they are well able to withstand even the strongest of winds". So true and I do believe that is another reason I love them so.  They sometimes endure a lot, yet they stand strong. (Hum, I think there is a lesson to learn in that - the storms of life will come, but if we remain stable and and don't give up, we too will grow into strong "palm trees" and be well able to endure most anything that comes our way.)
