To be such a simple thing, they can also be an easy item to use in your summer decor. I have decided to do just that in my outdoor space this year (and maybe even a little inside too!).
Let's take a look at a few ideas I found...
I have always loved the look of an oversized shell (maybe one we'd have to purchase, not find!). This is a great idea for a kitchen table or island, as well as a living room coffee table.
This obviously isn't sitting on a table inside or on a porch...but wouldn't this make a unique tablescape? Various lanterns with shells inside, a tray with some vintage looking items...and more shells.
Leave it to Martha Stewart to come up with this dreamy idea...LOVE it!
Even just some clear glass vases and bowls...with shells...can turn any drab table top into FAB for summer.
And with today being Saturday...this could indeed be accomplished within a matter of minutes! What a great idea!
Let's not forget those shelves or bookcases. Yes, these would indeed seem to be shells that were purchased, but they make such a delightful statement here. I know Homegoods usually has a great selection of items such as this.
Bottles with shell toppers...love the look...how about YOU?
I've always said I'd like to bring beach sand home...hum, maybe now I can to create this simple little idea.
And my "fave" one of all...
Candles in the shell itself and surrounded by many other shells. Simply Irresistible idea of this "Seashell Inspired Saturday"! (say that 20 times in a row....!!!)
Enjoy your Saturday and be sure to make it...
"Simply Irresistible"!
