A Fall Room Revamp
I use to not like plain or neutral furnishings, but over the years that has changed somewhat. I still like pattern and color but enjoy adding it in to a neutral 'backdrop'. This makes changing it out for seasons much easier and way less expensive...yea!
Here's a recent room design I thought I'd share with you...now, remind you, it's not my personal style, but it surely reflects our client's style...and after all, THAT is what interior design is all about! Right?
What do you like? A neutral room with pops of color and patterns...or more of these in your furniture and draperies? Just curious! We seem to be adding seasonal accents for our clients so they can just easily change them out a couple of times each year.
If you'd like our design team to create your perfect room...just let us know and we will get back to you with all of the details!
In the meantime...

Random Thoughts from the Weekend
One of my favorite things about interior design are the custom products we do...shades, draperies, headboards, bed-covering, etc....I simply LOVE pulling together all the fabrics, styles, and trims. I am 'in my element' when I do this, no doubt!
Here is a room I adore. Pleated roman shades dress the window and are topped with simple drapery panels embellished with trim. Then another fabric with a neutral pattern is introduced on the custom headboard and dust ruffle. Isn't this room lovely? Are YOU as smitten with custom draperies and bedding as I am? (Well, actually I really think that cute little dog takes first place in this room!!!)
As you will probably be able to tell from this post I did find some 'me time' over the weekend to relax with some amazing decorating magazines!
We were talking the other day about keeping it simple for the holidays this year...and this one shows us a few great ways to do that...but, what I posted this picture for was...the chair! I am currently sitting in a chair just like this except for the fabric. I like this added bit of 'glam' in this otherwise simple room. Do YOU? (Hum, I may now need want to change the fabric on my chair!)
Speaking of Christmas simplicity...
Yes, please!
Inside or outside works...
And this idea is definitely a winner in my book...
I love these simple pops of red in these otherwise neutral rooms...Simply Irresistible to me!
That is all of my 'random' thoughts for today...what did YOU do over the weekend?
Have a "Simply Irresistible" Day!

Keeping it Simple for the Holidays
Have you ever had a Christmas that you've done less decorating and more spending time with those you love? I can't help but to be intrigued about how it would feel to do something simple this year...like maybe this!
*I TRY TO CREDIT ALL IMAGES, IF THERE ARE ANY PHOTOS OR IMAGES HERE THAT ARE NOT CREDITED CORRECTLY OR YOU WISH THEM TO BE REMOVED, PLEASE LET ME KNOW AND I WILL GLADLY OBLIGE. THEY ARE BEING USED HERE FOR THE SOLE PURPOSE OF DISCUSSING INTERIOR DESIGN. THANK YOU!
Yes, a potted Christmas tree...and even simple wreaths adorned with just ribbon...
Could I...would I...Hum!
Or at least a smaller scale tree this year? Perhaps!
Just trying to tell myself it would be OK...
What are YOUR thoughts on this? Any of you doing less decorating during this holiday season for more time to do other things? Or do you go 'all out' each and every year? Do tell, please!
I guess we'd better get prepared because it will be here in the blink of an eye...where time goes anymore I haven't a clue.
Have a "Simply Irresistible" Day!
