Here are soda can vases you can buy here
or...how about DIY instead!
Aren't these close enough? Hey, and we all have empty drink cans, right? They are just painted...well, some cans are crushed too, and there...instant unique vases for your flowers! I just thought this was a really neat little project.
Are you ready for yet another great DIY idea?
Here are some cost friendly jars and vases for you to try...in whatever colors YOU want them in. It's from a "Martha Stewart tutorial" and requires only a few items.
Supplies:
Three different sized vases from the Dollar Store, dishwasher safe PermEnamel paint in Mediterranean Blue and White (or whatever color you want), PermEnamel Surface Conditioner (from Michaels Arts and Crafts), paper towels, paint brush and a mixing bowl.
Now, once you have these in hand, all you need to do is head over to Sugar and Charm for her step-by-step instructions. I, of course, can't take credit for these beauties...so head on over to see how to get results...like hers!
And now for a DIY calendar that is so easy, yet so unique...
This is so different...and it's made from paint chip samples (from Home Depot or Lowes) and a poster frame (that was actually a Goodwill find). Imagine that! There are no step-by-step directions for this Pinterest find, but I think it's pretty self-explanatory. YOUR calendar could end up any color(s) you wanted it too!
So there are our "Wacky Wednesday" DIY ideas...what do you think? Will you give any of these a try this upcoming weekend? Come on, do tell and be sure to share with us when you are done!
Have yourself a "Simply Irresistible" Day!
