Wild Hats and Interior Design

Did you see all the wild hats that were displayed at the Kentucky Derby this year?  Amazing that so many creative, and crazy, designs could be thought of.  But...what do you suppose these hats have in common with INTERIOR DESIGN?  Hum, take a look...

This one here looks more like a weapon...don't ya think?

Bloom from Kenneth Cobonpue
Now for a flower chair that reminds me of this hat.  It's called "The Bloom" (by Kenneth Coponpue). How cool is that!

Giddyup! My Little Pony is a horse racing fan!
Pony hat...with mane!

Here's the room to match the hat...by designer, Anne Boyle.

She's sponsored by Fruit Stripe gum.
This was one of my faves...surely because of the bright colors and the fact that it's Fruit Stripe Gum.  Aren't you even loving these summer colors together?

Living Room Interior Design Ideas
OK, so the colors aren't exact, but the concept is the same and after all, red is in the color family of pink, right?

I'll have a dozen assorted, please.
Well, if this were "my" hat...it would never hold it's form...I'd EAT the top of it sooner or later!!!

OK now...amuse me! Doesn't this one go with it?  The wood tones in the floor even represents the donuts (cake part)...amazing.  I do believe this one does mimic not only her hat, but her outfit as well.

These ladies didn't have good seats, but it's all good -- there's actually a webcam attached to the periscope-like hat on the right.
And here we have...webcams!  Yes, you read it right.  Apparantly word has it that they didn't have good seats so there is a webcam on the end of the one on the right...now "that's" creative and innovative!

Does this look like the combo of their hats and outfits...sure does to me.  Love the color combos!

Do not disturb: The peacock is drinking.
Another one of my "faves"...peacocks feathers...and I love her outfit and how well it coordinates with the hat.  I 'd say this is a well "designed" room...I mean fashion!

How's this table-scape ruffle your "peacock" feathers?  It sure resembles the above fashion.

She has a similar hat with a putt-putt course on it.
You just have to love this creativity for the event!

How about a dash of color like this to compliment the horse hat and clothing shown above.

Isn't that hat ticklish?
Oh, this one reminds me of the animal print black and white rugs that I love so much...ooh-la-la....with a pop of orange!

I love this classy color scheme which is always crisp and clean...whether in fashion or home decor.

We wonder how Wicker Basket will place this year.
They are all incredible...I just can't stop admiring them!

What's your opinion?

She really just wanted a place to hide her crudites and wine coolers.
A fun ball of elegance here...

...and in this dressing room, which by the way, is that of the one and only...Miley Cyrus.  How charming it is! Notice all the wall decals of black chandeliers on that back pink wall...so cute! They remind me of the 'whimsy' of the black feathers in the above hat.

That parrot used to sit on her shoulder.
Speaking of bright, bold and beautiful...here it is!

And this room is designed with all of these same "pops" of color that are found in that fashionable hat.

I will leave you with these for today and I hope you enjoyed seeing how these wild hats played a role in finding my rooms for this post.  I just had fun researching this....so thank you for stopping by to check it out.  I appreciate each of you that follow!

Be sure to...make it a "Simply Irresistible" Day!
