Top Tips - #1

Do you ever want to change something in your home just to "freshen up" the look a little?  I get this urge quite often (imagine that!) and I bet some of you do to.  Problem is...maybe you don't know what to do.  I'd like to share one of our "Top Tips" with you today that is so simple and will add a look that is "Simply Irresistible" to your space!

How many of you have ottomans, instead of a table, in front of your sofa or seating arrangement?  It's a great way to change the look in your room yet it can still serve as a table.  That being said (which is not really the tip for today - but a great idea for you!) look at how easy it is to accessorize this ottoman (or table if that's what you now have).  First, find a  beautiful tray.  Then add a box (which is a great place to store all those hideous looking remotes!), a few select books that sport the colors in your room, and a lovely floral arrangement (fresh, or not is OK) to set atop the books....voila!  There, you have a lovely new table top (or ottoman top) look that will certainly brighten up your room.  It's that easy!

We will be sharing more of our "Top Tips" with you to give you some creative ways to freshen up your spaces.  If you're like me...you know Fall is just around the corner and you might like to change things up a bit...right?  Well, stay tuned to our blog and we will bring you more easy ideas.

Have a "Simply Irresistible" Day!

  1. You're so dear. Thank you for your comment today. I love the way God can encourage others through our struggles. And I continue to be amazed by how he connects people's hearts through blogging...even design blogging! :)

    Blessings to you, Susan!

  2. I know...isn't that amazing! I have decided that each time I read your blog I am going to lift you and your family up in prayer. I know the body of Christ needs one another for that too. Oh, and I just LOVE your cards...they are so beautiful and like you said, a true talent from God. Have a blessed day!
