Things I LOVE...Day #18

Wishing I were in a city I love...CHARLESTON, SC.  Yep, that is one of my "loves". Have you been there?

I love to walk the waterfront at the battery and take in all the gorgeous homes and architectural features.

Shopping Upper King
There is nothing like doing a little (well, a lot really!) shopping on King Street. There are plenty of merchants with lots to look at!

Galleries Galore
It seems there are art galleries on almost every corner...so be sure to stop in a few. You never know what treasure you may find to take home with you!

10 Things Every Visitor Must Do
And a MUST to do...take a carriage ride!

Tour With Your Taste Buds
How about a Lowcountry cooking class while you're there to learn more about their unique cuisine?  Sound fun?

Schooner Pride, Sailing Tours Charleston, SC
Maybe you'd like to experience some sight-seeing out on the water...past the USS Yorktown, the Arthur Ravenel Jr. suspension bridge, with glimpses of Rainbow Row, or perhaps chasing the ghosts (??)of Blackbeard...all of this can be done with a sailing tour (here).

Oh, and for a "beach girl" like me...it's also a must to take a ride over to one of the nearby islands, like Folly Beach, Sullivan's Island or even Isle of the Palms while you're there.  Any one of these will do for me!
Why not try this old Southern city in South Carolina...it's sure to be a trip your won't forget.  There's nothing quite like the Southern Charm found there!!

Have a "Simply Irresistible" Day!
